Jade Apartment
Our interstate clients wanted to modernize and brighten their third home on the Gold Coast. They sought a retreat from their Melbourne residence while keeping the functionality of a holiday apartment. We worked closely with the client and their chosen interior design team, Bones Studio, on this Gold Coast apartment renovation. Watch our project video here.
One of the most significant changes was the kitchen renovation. The old kitchen was outdated, with a cold, boxed-in feel and a dated color scheme. The client's main desire was for a modern kitchen that was both beautiful and practical. This led to the addition of a seamless butler’s pantry, enhancing both style and functionality.
One of our favorite parts of this interior design Gold Coast project was selecting and combining materials. The marble kitchen bench matched perfectly with wood paneling and flooring. The additional lighting highlighted the premium tapware and hardware. The size and shape of the newly renovated kitchen are exceptional for a Gold Coast apartment. A special feature wall was included to showcase a large piece of artwork.
Other updates in this Gold Coast apartment renovation involved several key areas. The glass encasing the private plunge pool was modernised. The open bath in the primary bedroom was repositioned for better use of space and views. We also reconstructed the hallway to create a brighter and more open area for art display. Wood floors and new tiles throughout the apartment provided a warm and contemporary feel.
This Gold Coast apartment renovation is a prime example of blending personal comfort with stunning design. It demonstrates how to transform a space into a beloved home and enhanced view while ensuring it remains a comfortable retreat. This project perfectly showcases the art of creating a space that feels both luxurious and homely without compromise.
